4th May – Live Music – The Titfield Thunderbolts!
The Titfield Thunderbolts play “post punk pop” and “pub rock” in a laid back style, for old rockers who have mellowed with age. Mashing up: Jazz, Country, Blues, Soul and Ska with 70s Post Punk, New Wave and 80s Indie Classics.
Fronted by local music legend Steve Gamble, who is joined by an exquisite and quirky troup of top musicians, including the keyboard player from the Tom Robinson Band, and a drummer who taught Phil Collins to play!
Expect to hear songs you know and love, in a totally unrecognisable format!
“The Titfield Thunderbolts” are named after the Ealing Comedy. Written by local T E B Clarke. He took the name from Titsey and Limpsfield.
This is a FREE ENTRY event with a full bar and hog roast buffet.
